About the Book
Throughout the world, Vedic culture — its origin, nature, developmental processes and continuity — have drawn the attention of Oriental and Occidental scholars. From the very beginning of its inception, Vedic culture has represented India’s religious and spiritual ethos, sacraments, cultural identity and the uniqueness of its other social institutions, which cannot be separated from each other because of their deep attachment with Puruṣārthacatuṣṭaya and Varṇāśrama Dharma.
Highlighting these developments and achievements, the School of Studies in Ancient Indian History, Archaeology and Culture, Vikram University, Ujjain (M.P.), organised a national seminar on Vedic Culture and its Continuity. The proceedings of the seminar are being printed in this volume, which contains 14 English and 37 Hindi research papers in two separate volumes. The present volume will be helpful to readers, researchers and scholars of Vedic traditions.
